Transmission Fast Learn Procedure

Overview:
The Transmission Fast Learn Procedure in VCM Scanner's Special Controls requires logging the PID "Fast Learn Status" in the scanner. This PID will provide real-time feedback on required actions and progress throughout the procedure.

Triggering the Transmission Fast Learn Procedure:

• You must follow on-screen instructions within 2 seconds (e.g., selecting "D" or "R")—failing to comply in time will cause the test to abort.
• Conditions Required:
  • The engine must be idling.
  • Transmission temperature should be between 70°C and 95°C.
  • The vehicle must be stationary, with the brake pedal fully applied throughout the test.

Important Note:
During this procedure, expect automatic changes in engine speed and potential clutch noises from the transmission. These variations are normal and indicate the system is completing necessary adjustments.
