What is TunerLock?

Once a vehicle is TunerLocked, it can only be unlocked by the original tuner who applied the lock. If the original tuner is unavailable, the only alternative is to replace the PCM.

How to Check if a Vehicle is TunerLocked

1. Submit a Support Ticket

   • If you suspect the vehicle is TunerLocked, visit our Support section and open a ticket.

2. Provide the Debug.dat File

   • Locate the Debug.datfile on your PC:
     • Path: This PC > Documents > HP Tuners > Settings
   • Attach this file to your support ticket for review.
