Unable to Open File: Unsupported or Newer Version Detected

Problem

The error message "Unable to open file. Unsupported or newer version detected" occurs when the file was created using a newer version of VCM Suite than the one currently installed on your computer.


Solution

  1. Update to the Latest VCM Suite BETA Version

  2. Open the File Using the Updated Version

    • Once updated, launch the BETA version of VCM Suite and try opening the file again.


Using the latest BETA ensures compatibility with the newest file formats and features.
